The distinction is interesting, because creation is not necessarily creative. Giving a project an intention belongs to the realm of creativity. One thinks “what and why?”. The other thinks “how?”.
Two closely linked notions: inseparable and yet quite distinct! It is precisely because these two professions are different that they are indispensable to one another. One gives a direction, the other gives it a form. The problem arises when one is asked to make up for the absence of the other. A creative may have a very good understanding of execution, but that does not necessarily make them a builder. Conversely, a builder may be extremely skilled technically without having the ability to reveal the place.
